The noise insulation was severely lacking between rooms!!! Not to mention the inconvenient room layouts that made maneuvering difficult. Plus, the shower design caused water to leak everywhere, definitely a hassle during my stay!!!

I really enjoyed my two-night stay here. the room was clean and the view from the window was stunning. I loved the comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. The hotel had a nice lounge area and a lovely outdoor patio where I could relax after a day of sightseeing. Just a heads up, the breakfast options could have been a bit more varied, but it didn't ruin my experience! 😊

During my recent stay, I found the location quite convenient. The spacious room made our time enjoyable. It was a relief to come back after a day of sightseeing and relax in comfort. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of receiving two macaroons upon check-out, which added a personal touch to the experience.
I encountered issues with the parking arrangements. It was frustrating to deal with the limited space available.

Had a great time with friends exploring the shops and nightlife just 800 metres away. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions, and the place was cozy for our group. We visited the Royal Mile and the castle, both easily walkable. Just a heads up, though, the dining area was small for our group of friends, but we managed to make it work!
One downside was the bathroom radiator that stayed on permanently, making it pretty warm at times. It would have been nice to have control over the heating.

My stay at Cairn Hotel was quite positive. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area yet within walking distance to main shops, cafes, and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for my work-related stay. I appreciated the underfloor heating feature, which added an extra touch of comfort during my visit.
The breakfast option was a Grab n go bag which I found lacking.

The location was perfect for hitting up nearby shops and nightlife, only 800 meters from all the action. We also checked out a couple of amazing sites nearby. The facilities were great with lots of amenities. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day out.
One downside was that the heating in our room was a bit tricky to manage, making it feel warm at times. It would have been nice to have better control over the temperature.

The location of the Cairn Hotel is fantastic, on a peaceful street yet close to everything. The staff greeted me with warmth and helped me check in smoothly. My room was clean and came with all necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV and tea facilities. I loved the underfloor heating, a nice touch for chilly Edinburgh. Breakfast options were decent but limited, and I found the grab-and-go bags insufficient. I encountered issues with noise coming from other rooms, which disrupted my sleep a bit. Overall, a pleasant stay with room for improvement.
